Chesterton Humberts is proud to announce they are now a corporate supporter of the Royal Academy of the Arts.
2014 is set to be a hugely exciting year at the RA, and Chesterton Humberts is delighted to be a part of it. The Academy is founded on the notion of promoting the arts of design and continues to fulfill its founders’ aims by mounting a continuous programme of internationally acclaimed loan exhibitions throughout the year.
Opening this month is the much-anticipated Sensing Spaces: Architecture Reimagined. This exhibition is a showcase of 7 large scale architectural practices from six countries and four continents. The structures invite you to interact and essentially reimagine your surroundings.
Some of the most creative architectural minds from around the world have come to the RA to give a new perspective on architecture and transform the Main Galleries with a series of large scale installations.
As you respond to different structures, textures, lighting, scents and colours, you are invited to consider some of the big questions about the nature of architecture; how do spaces make us feel? What does architecture do for our lives?
You are as much a part of this exhibition as the work itself – invited to touch, climb, walk, talk, sit, contemplate – reimagine the world.
The Royal Academy is an independent, privately funded institution led by eminent artists and architects so relies heavily upon the continuous support of its members which now includes Chesterton Humberts.
